Who am I?

Hello. I'm a developer and maker still in school. I enjoy programming, 3d printing, math, and breaking games. Thank you for taking the time to check out my site!

Programming

I like to code in my free time. I've worked in many languages including Java, Kotlin, JavaScript (sadly), and Rust. My programming knowledge is self taught for the most part. Every time I learn a new language, I start by making a project that I actually want to make and I just learn the syntax from docs and tab completion. I've spent thousands of hours programming in Java and Kotlin and subsequently love object oriented programming (and probably rely on it way too much). I prefer to stay away from frontend as much as I can ― yet here I am.

Printing

I got a 3d printer in the spring of 2026. Since then, I've used it to print small things to just make life easier, like a small desk mount, as well as making custom parts that couldn't be store bought. I designed and printed a CoreXY system with GT2 timing belts and pulleys as well as stepper motors driven by a TMC2209 and controlled by an Arduino UNO. I really like that 3d printing is generally not too expensive (for what I'm doing ― prototypes in PLA) outside of the original printer cost. I also like that the limit is pretty much just how willing I am to remove the supports after my design prints.

also i use arch btw
